* The XAETREX Mail server has been repaired. It was unaccessable from 9:15 PM to 10:00 PM PST This evening for the upgrade.

* The XAETREXNET Website has been simplified. It now fits better in any browser, a few browser-specific items have been removed and we are in the process of changing the way the forms on the site are submitted. Hopefully you find our site to be even easier to navigate with the new outline. E-mail Services are slow at times - this is a known problem and will be fixed with the emergency repair this coming friday. Checked web browsers: Internet Explorer 6.0, Mozilla FireFox 1.5.0.3, Opera 8.54*. Please see not below for Opera users.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR OPERA USERS:
* Make sure to close the XAETEX NETWORKS tab if you use the webmail login on the front page. If you do not, your login name AND password will still be in the web interface.

* The XAETREXNET Mail server is expected to be down for 1 to 2 hours this coming friday the 19th from 10 PM to as late as Midnight. There will be a temporary server set up to accept incoming mail to your [temporary] mailbox, then after the upgrade it will be transfered to your real mailbox. Services that will be DOWN: Mail.xaetrex.net: webmail, send mail

* The XAETREXNET Servers have been upgraded. The Mail server will have to be down for about an hour in the near future to move the main mail data drive to a different partition - to allow for expansion. You will be informed on the expected date.

* A new Spam filter has been added to the mail server. Please notify TOOL_5150@XAETREX.NET of any problems with mail delivery. You should see progressivly less spam in your mailbox in the future.
* The Site Map and Search have been added to the main page.

* The main XAETREXNET server was down from 4:15 AM PST to 5:15 AM PST for emergency repairs. All services were down for this hour. A search may be added to the site, as well as a site index. No decisions are made yet.

* XAETREXNET Was down from 6:20 - 6:30 AM PST. We transfered everything to a new power transfer switch to prepair for the Dual UPS Setup we will have soon.

* We are going to be upgrading the main power distribution within the next week. If you cant access a certain service, please note that we are probably upgrading and any given service will not be down for longer than 5 minutes. Thank you for your support.

* Some users have reported a big amount of spam mail in their mailboxes. We have made some changes to the servers, and to help us out, please notify your Domain Admin IMMEDIATELY if you notice problems.

* The Server / Network upgrade has started and will be in progress over the next week or two. All downtime of any services will occur between 12AM and 4AM PST. Email will always be avalible, except for 15 mintes of last night, Which the whole network was brought down for a main link upgrade. Important updates on the upgrade will be posted here throughout the process.

* A few prices were lowered. Email service is now Unlimited accounts for $80/Yr
* A server upgrade is expected to happen in the future, ALL services will NOT be avalible for around 4 hours. EXCEPT for incoming email - If an email gets sent to you during the upgrade, you will be able to receive it after we bring the main server back up. More info on that later.

* The mail, and web servers were not avalible around 10 AM this morning due to the backbone switch that all the servers are on failed. Service was restored within 10 minutes of failure.

* Xaetrex Networks online mail service is back online. Due to an exploit, the web logon was shut down. After a lot of testing, the mail server was shut down @ 3:30 am for upgrading. It was brought back up 15 minutes later. The Web service is back in 100% working order, and can be accessed using the link to the left on the main page.

* Xaetrex Networks online mail service is not avalible to the general public. An exploit was found and we were forced to stop the web service temporarly. We should be putting a new server online within a week and the problem will be fixed as soon as possible.

* Your email account is now avalible Anywhere in the world. On the main page, there is a “Member Email Logon” link. Click it, and submit your username and password that you were given when your account was set up. While logged in, you can send mail, recieve mail, change your personal info includeing your password. You can also set up an auto responder, or a forward email address. Again, any problems, Please use the feedback form, and make sure it is clear you are a member, having Email problems.
